The one cable which connects your computer to the internet is a network cable. This cable connects to your modem. If you are using a laptop or some form of tablet you are using a wireless connection to the internet. Now here are some keyboard tips you will constantly use:

Copy hit Ctrl key and C at same time - DRAG mouse to include all content

PASTE hit Ctrl and V at the same time. then you will see the content that you selected in the copy key strokes.

Create a document and save it in YOUR folder

windows: go to icon on your desktop "MY Computer" / click on file - new- folder - type in "YOUR FOLDER" (this is your folder name which is going hold all your documents and files)

double click your mouse on the YOUR FOLDER (it will open with no files in it. here is where you will create your document)

click on File (up top left hand corner - click on NEW - click on TEXT Document) type in MYDOCUMENT (this is the name of your document) double click on MYDOCUMENT - here is where you can start typing or saving information you want to include in your document. this could be a letter to you best friend. it could be you grocery shopping list. could be a list of all your bank deposits.

to SAVE this document on the computer click on file up top left corner FILE SAVE. this is when the file will be saved with all the information you have typed in.

NOW you are a Professional at creating and saving files on your computer.
